The Planning and Zoning Commission is looking to fill a vacant citizen position (3-year term).

The seven (7) members of the Planning and Zoning Commission make recommendations to the Town Council concerning Eagar’s development.  The Community Development Department provides information and technical assistance to the Commission.

The Planning and Zoning Commission has the following responsibilities:

1) To conduct public hearings and make recommendations to the Town Council concerning requests for conditional - use permits; 

2)  To conduct public hearings and make recommendations to the Town Council on subdivision plats and land split requests;

3) To recommend to the Town Council changes in the Municipal Code regarding subdivision and zoning matters; and

4) To recommend to the Town Council long-range development plans for Eagar.
